Starbucks will be hosting a series of events in honor of the shooting victims on Sunday, including a candlelight vigil at the company’s New York City headquarters and a candlelit vigil outside the company store.
Starbucks will also offer a candle light vigil at its Starbucks headquarters, where it has been hosting candlelight vigils since the shootings.
In a statement, Starbucks said that while the events will include a candle lit vigil, they will not be about gun control or gun violence.
“While we are grateful for the outpouring of love, we are reminded that all too often, those who hold us accountable do so by using our most sacred spaces, as well as our most intimate moments,” the company said.
“The company will also continue to host events around the country to celebrate our many employees and partners, including the hundreds of thousands of people who have joined us to help the victims and their families in times of need.”
