Schmitt and his team believe that the compounds in cannabis sativism are capable of improving cognitive functioning in the face of cognitive impairment.
They believe that they may also be effective for treating other health conditions, such as epilepsy, multiple sclerosis and glaucoma.
The team says that they hope to further study the effects of cannabis sativist extracts on cognition and the brain and identify additional compounds that may improve the efficacy of cannabis extracts for anxiety.
